Every year, the Council of European Geodetic Surveyors (CLGE) organises a student contest aimed at rewarding young people for their work in various surveying-related areas, such as:
- Geodesy, Topography,
- GIS, Mapping and Cadastre,

- Galileo, EGNOS and/or Copernicus.
The Galileo Masters, formerly known as the European Satellite Navigation Competition (ESNC), is an international competition for projects with innovative ideas focused on the exploitation of the Global Satellite Navigation Systems (GNSS).
