Steve Lee is the Chief Executive Officer of Astrosat, an Astronautics and Earth observation company. A proven innovator and entrepreneur, Steve is also an award-winning Astrophysicist and Astronautical Engineer. Through his leadership Astrosat is paving the way for Space solutions using innovation to solve global challenges.
Philippe Blanc is the head of the department Energy and Processes of MINES Paris - PSL and is the deputy head of the centre Observation, Impacts, Energy. Philippe is working on the modelling of solar radiation and its assessment from in situ measurements or/and satellite images. His background is related to signal and image processing, data sciences and applied mathematics.
Steve Spittle is CTO and Co-Founder of GlobalTrust, an innovative space and sustainability start-up focused on using the power of satellites to develop and deliver sustainability strategies. Steve leads and implements the companies' technology strategy, products, and services. He has been a technical and business mentor for satellite start-up companies across Europe.
Elena Megias has more than 15 years of experience in the design and implementation of web and desktop applications and services. Elena works at the European GNSS Service Centre and supports EUSPA in future Galileo Services development. She has a geodesy and cartography degree.
Miguel García has over 30 years of experience as a consultant, coach and trainer to 500+ executives, business owners, public officials, and entrepreneurs. In 2001, he founded his company ASAP Operational Research specialised in market research. He provides consumer insights, competitive vision and basic rules for the economic viability of the project.
Norbert Frischauf is a Chief Technologist at SpaceTec Partners with more than 13 years of management consulting experience. Norbert is a science journalist at the Austrian National television and technology strategist in EC, EUSPA, GJU, and ESA. He has a scientific and technological background ranging from high energy physics, IT, aviation, and aerospace to space systems engineering.
Waldemar Franczak is a co-creator and CEO of Spectator.Earth, a platform to speed up the process of bringing satellite image-based intelligence to everyone’s everyday life. After a master's degree in Computer Vision and Robotics, Waldemar moved to the Satellite Earth Observation industry. He is a former stagiaire at ESA Advanced Concepts Team and Head of Technology at the award-winning Earth Observation company Astrosat.
Miguel Ángel has over 15 years of international experience in business development and growth, management, strategy, and sales in 12 organizations of 4 countries. His expertise covers business projects design and execution, including launching, growth, and monitoring.
Guerric de Crombrugghe is an enthusiastic and self-driven expert in aerospace, including aeroplanes, drones, rockets, satellites, and their applications, with an emphasis on company growth and innovation. He launched ScanWorld, a hyperspectral images and analytics company, in 2020. He now works as Chief Product Officer at ConstellR with the goal of creating a European champion in satellite photography for agriculture.

Yes, there is no requirement as such for participation in the EU Space Academy Learning Platform. Although the course is aimed at entrepreneurs within the space sector, the lessons are designed so any interested person regardless of their background can find modules of interest.
