Having worked at Verhaert for more than 25 years, Dany Robbrecht focuses on strategic innovation: this includes value and business model engineering and value proposition design, as well as strategic product, design and (open) innovation management in a B2B, B2C and the public context.
Philippe Blanc is the head of the department Energy and Processes of MINES Paris - PSL and is the deputy head of the centre Observation, Impacts, Energy. Philippe is working on the modelling of solar radiation and its assessment from in situ measurements or/and satellite images. His background is related to signal and image processing, data sciences and applied mathematics.
Nicolas Peter has more than 20 years of international experience in space policy on 4 continents and 8 countries. Nicolas has published over 100 reports and co-edited three books on space affairs and is a regular peer-reviewer for the Journals Space Policy and Acta Astronautica. He is also a Board of Director of the Women in Aerospace Europe and an Honorary Board Member of the Space Generation Advisory Council.
Gil Lizcano is an expert in climate modelling with experience in the management and commercialization of large projects. Gil has led Vortex’s innovation strategy when he is a current partner. He is the driving force behind the Climate Scale idea in 2019 and is now a founding partner of CS.

Norbert Frischauf is a Chief Technologist at SpaceTec Partners with more than 13 years of management consulting experience. Norbert is a science journalist at the Austrian National television and technology strategist in EC, EUSPA, GJU, and ESA. He has a scientific and technological background ranging from high energy physics, IT, aviation, and aerospace to space systems engineering.
Elena Megias has more than 15 years of experience in the design and implementation of web and desktop applications and services. Elena works at the European GNSS Service Centre and supports EUSPA in future Galileo Services development. She has a geodesy and cartography degree.

Aikaterini is a cleantech and deeptech executive who has sourced, vetted, and coached hundreds of Silicon Valley and European startups over the last eight years to scale, get funded, and exit.
Her work with entrepreneurs started in Silicon Valley, in 2015, during her mission at the French energy giant EDF (a 140B EUR company). There, she worked with dozens of Bay Area startups across the US, Canada, and Europe.

Yes, there is no requirement as such for participation in the EU Space Academy Learning Platform. Although the course is aimed at entrepreneurs within the space sector, the lessons are designed so any interested person regardless of their background can find modules of interest.
No, you can register to the online programme anytime! Once you registered, you will gain access to all the available courses that you can watch at your own convenience.
