Julia Yagüe is a geographer and holds a PhD in Remote Sensing. Julia is a Project Manager at GMV’s Remote Sensing Applications Unit since 2007 and develops EO services for EU institutional clients governing environment, agriculture and forestry including carbon stock measurements. Dr Yagüe managed the EC study on User Requirements & Service Specifications to be fulfilled by the next generation of the Copernicus space component.
Elena Megias has more than 15 years of experience in the design and implementation of web and desktop applications and services. Elena works at the European GNSS Service Centre and supports EUSPA in future Galileo Services development. She has a geodesy and cartography degree.
Simona Ciuciuc is a tech enthusiast who spent 8 years in the tech industry with Orange. Simona worked in several areas as a functional architect for mobile money services at Orange and as a cloud architect for their public cloud solution. She is a senior Data&AI architect, and her main activities are to contribute to and support the Orange B2B Data AI transformation.
Ingo Baumann is a co-founding partner of BHO Legal, a boutique space and technology law. With more than 20 years of professional experience, Dr Baumann is an expert advisor in the geospatial, R&D and defence sectors. He is a member of various professional organisations such as the International Institute of Space Law
Peter Torstensen is the CEO and founder of Accelerace, the leading startup accelerator and early stage investor in the Nordics, having accelerated more than 800 startups and invested into nearly 120 pre-traction startups. He is an entrepreneur and contributed to the creation of some of the first venture funds in Denmark.
Miguel García has over 30 years of experience as a consultant, coach and trainer to 500+ executives, business owners, public officials, and entrepreneurs. In 2001, he founded his company ASAP Operational Research specialised in market research. He provides consumer insights, competitive vision and basic rules for the economic viability of the project.
Martin Giese is a startup coach and active business angel in leading incubators. He regularly lectures on fundraising negotiations, entrepreneurial leadership and business model incubation in leading academic programs.He is author of two guidebooks for startups on startup fundraising and B2B sales.

Yes, there is no requirement as such for participation in the EU Space Academy Learning Platform. Although the course is aimed at entrepreneurs within the space sector, the lessons are designed so any interested person regardless of their background can find modules of interest.
