César Carmona is Principal at Novaspace and Founder of C3 Space, specialising in secure satellite communications, cybersecurity and resilient aerospace systems. His experience spans secure-by-design architecture, programme leadership and complex communication infrastructure, including senior roles at Airbus Defence and Space, OHB and EUMETSAT.
Monika Kuffer is Professor of Sustainability of Rural-Urban Systems at the University of Twente. Her research combines urban remote sensing, geo-information science and planning to address sustainable urban development. She is particularly recognised for using very-high-resolution imagery to map informal settlements and support evidence-based urban policy.
Fiammetta Diani is Head of Market, Downstream and Innovation at EUSPA, leading a 30-person team that connects EU space services with industry, entrepreneurs and public institutions. With over two decades of experience in space systems, market development and business development, she advances user-driven GNSS and Earth observation applications across Europe.
Alina Hriscu is an EGNSS security expert at EUSPA. Alina has a PhD in physics with a focus on nanocircuits for quantum computers and sensing devices. She worked at ESA and EUSOA in market development promoting EGNSS for SMEs such as in the Fundamental Elements funding programme.
Jean-Marc Pieplu is EGNOS Exploitation Programme Manager at EUSPA, overseeing the operation of Europe’s satellite-based augmentation system. With over 30 years’ experience in complex aerospace systems, he has held senior roles in Galileo deployment, GNSS services and ground-segment development at the European Commission and Thales Alenia Space.
Gil Lizcano is an expert in climate modelling with experience in the management and commercialization of large projects. Gil has led Vortex’s innovation strategy when he is a current partner. He is the driving force behind the Climate Scale idea in 2019 and is now a founding partner of CS.
Morgane Jouisse is a Space Traffic Management Engineer at CNES, working on the EU Space Surveillance and Tracking conjunction-assessment service. Her expertise includes orbital propagation, collision-risk analysis and uncertainty modelling. Previously at GMV, she developed software supporting launch, early-orbit and station-keeping safety assessments.
Claus Nehmzou has more than 30 years of experience in business development for multinational companies across diverse industries. Claus specialises in emerging technology, and he is the founder and CEO of a gamified online education start-up in Hong Kong. He is renowned for his innovative approaches and valued for his business and technology insights.
Peter Torstensen is the CEO and founder of Accelerace, the leading startup accelerator and early stage investor in the Nordics, having accelerated more than 800 startups and invested into nearly 120 pre-traction startups. He is an entrepreneur and contributed to the creation of some of the first venture funds in Denmark.
Usue Donezar Hoyos leads the Copernicus Land Monitoring Service at the European Environment Agency. An agricultural engineer with over 15 years’ expertise in satellite-based land-cover and land-use mapping, she supports environmental monitoring and European policy through Earth observation data, products and services.

Business-development leader with 15 years of experience across commercial, institutional and R&D space organisations. She led EMEA business development at Planet and specialises in Earth observation, GNSS, sustainability, public procurement and go-to-market strategy. Space and satellite expert with 20 years of experience across Europe. He started as a systems engineer on Earth Observation programmes and later worked in project and technical management for secure SATCOM missions at OHB and Airbus Defence and Space. At Airbus, he led Aerospace Security, delivering secure-by-design solutions for major programmes. He holds a Master’s in Telecommunications Engineering and an Executive MBA.
Technologist @ ASI - Italian Space Agency
Ph.D. in Geoinformation. He spent 10+ years at the GIPSA-Lab in Grenoble conducting research activity focused on hyperspectral image processing. He is among the founders of Data Science Experts, a french startup specialized in AI+EO. In 2021 Giorgio joined the Italian Space Agency as Technologist specialized in hyperspectral data processing.
