ISO 9001:2015 Certification

EUSPA (formerly the GSA) has been ISO 9001:2015 certified for all its activities since December 2017.

This certification represents a significant collective effort across EUSPA to establish an Integrated Management System (IMS) and to define specific quality processes. It also represents a continued global commitment to deliver more effective and efficient services that better respond to the needs of EGNOS and Galileo end users.

The certification lays a solid foundation for building towards additional certifications. EUSPA will continue to develop its IMS and intends to apply the quality management approach to deliver continual improvement in both performance and services as it seeks to satisfy customers and key stakeholders.

What is ISO and ISO 9001?

The International Standards Organisation (ISO) is a worldwide federation of national standards bodies (ISO member bodies). The work of preparing International Standards is carried out through ISO technical committees, in liaison with international organisations and governmental and non-governmental bodies.

ISO 9001 specifies the requirements for a QMS that an organisation may use for internal application, certification or contractual purposes.
