The night of 18 September (at 00:50 am CEST) saw the latest launch of two Galileo satellites into orbit, marking another successful mission in the collaboration between the European Commission, EUSPA and ESA.
Jointly facilitated by the European Commission and EUSPA, the new EU Space Information Sharing and Analysis Centre (ISAC) is a collaborative initiative where EU and Norwegian companies from the space sector can work together to enhance their resilience and better address security challenges through exchanges and best practice sharing.
Dedicated to Maritime users, this new EGNOS service has an enlarged coverage and provides an augmentation solution even in areas where DGNSS services are unavailable.
With end-users always at the centre of its action, the EU Space Programme continues to evolve, offering services that contribute to the safety and well-being of European citizens. One such service is the upcoming Galileo Emergency Warning Satellite Service (EWSS).
