CASSINI is the European Commission's initiative to support entrepreneurs, start-ups, and SMEs in the space industry. It is open to all areas of the EU Space Programme, and covers both upstream (i.e. nanosats, launchers, etc...) and downstream (i.e. products/services enabled by space data, etc.). CASSINI offers support throughout the entire innovation cycle, from idea generation to market entry and growth. The initiative includes a €1 billion EU seeds and growth fund, hackathons and mentoring, prizes, a business accelerator, partnering and matchmaking.
More than 40 investors and 80 start-ups will participate in the event, for two days of networking and thoughtful discussions about pioneering developments in the space industry.
In addition, officials from European Union institutions, such as the European Commission, the European Union Agency for the Space Programme (EUSPA), the European Investment Bank and European partners such as the European Space Agency (ESA) will attend this event.
CASSINI Entrepreneurship Days regroup investors, accelerators, promising start-ups and people interested to hear from the EU start-ups. This is an opportunity for upcoming companies to pitch their initiatives and build invaluable business relationships.
Attend our panels hosted by influential speakers, who describe the journey of directing their own projects. Gather knowledge about obtaining funding and partnerships, conducting market studies and studying product development. These skills are necessary in the creation of a successful start-up.
Pitching sessions will be organised for registered entities. Seize the chance to present your project to the crowd, to gain visibility and attract funding. CASSINI Challenges winners will be awarded their prize during a ceremony celebrating their initiative for the development of the EU Space industry.
