Galileo Launch 14

On 17 December 2025 at 02:01 a.m. local time (5:01 a.m. UTC, 6:01 a.m. CET), Arianespace launched a new pair of Galileo satellites aboard an Ariane 6 rocket from Europe’s Spaceport in French Guiana. The mission, designated VA266, was the fifth flight of Ariane 6, using the Ariane 62 configuration with two boosters.

Launch 14 (L14) was the first-ever Galileo launch on Ariane 6, further consolidating the launcher’s role in supporting the European Union’s flagship navigation system.

GSAT2033 entered into service in May 2026, and GSAT0234 entered into service in July 2026. This marked the full deployment of the L14 satellites within the Galileo constellation. The constellation will continue to expand in the coming months with the Launch 15 mission, further strengthening Galileo's global navigation capabilities.
