Copernicus Thematic Workshops

The Copernicus Thematic Workshops, organised by EUSPA in collaboration with the European Commission and Copernicus Entrusted Entities, bring together users, researchers, industry representatives, and policymakers to discuss the latest developments and applications of Copernicus data in specific thematic areas.

By fostering dialogue and knowledge exchange, these events support the uptake of Copernicus EO products and services and help identify emerging user needs and future directions. These hybrid workshops address challenges such as sustainable energy supply, forest monitoring under new EU legislation, climate resilience strategies, and environmental compliance assurance.

Participants explore practical solutions, data applications, and policy implications leveraging Copernicus satellite data. The workshops also align with strategic European Union priorities, reinforcing Copernicus’s vital role in supporting European sustainable development and environmental objectives.
