The first 'ICL-GNSS' will be held in Tampere, Finland on 29-30 June 2011. Organisers say the event will provide a high-quality publishing forum with peer review.
ICL-GNSS comes to Finland. © Peter GutierrezDriven by both market trends and legal regulations, there is now a high demand for robust localisation solutions, which would be available continuously, regardless of the specific environment, outdoors and indoors, and on different platforms such as stand-alone navigators, PDAs and other mobile devices.
ICL-GNSS will address satellite-based and complementary technologies and will feature world-class invited keynote presentations, an exhibition of state-of-the-art commercial technologies, and peer-reviewed papers.
The local organiser for the event in 2011 is Tampere University of Technology, Department of Computer Systems.
Technical co-sponsors include the IEEE Communications Society, the GRAMMAR project, the WHERE project and the WHERE2 project.
