The CASSINI Entrepreneurship Days (CED) is the premier annual space entrepreneurship event under the European Commission’s €1 billion CASSINI initiative, designed to propel the growth of start-ups and SMEs in the space sector.
CED accommodates all growth stages, from space enthusiasts to established scale-ups. Moreover, it also encompasses all facets of space technology, from upstream development to downstream applications.
The 2026 edition, themed “Built in Europe. Built to Last”, will explore how leading European space tech ventures navigate shifting geopolitical and market conditions. Additionally, this year’s event will showcase the achievements delivered through the CASSINI programme over the past six years, while offering an exclusive look at what lies ahead.
Organised under the framework of the EU space institutions, the Cassini Entrepreneurship Days stand apart from conventional startup events. First and most importantly, they are deeply embedded in the European space and innovation ecosystem. Second, apart from access to private funding networks, they are also closely connected to EU funding mechanisms and public-sector programs. Finally, they offer exclusive access to investors and strategic partners: here we are creating a setting where startups can turn discussions into actual business.
