OSNMA Webinar - September 1st 14:00 CEST
Discover Galileo's new OSNMA authentication service in a webinar featuring EC, EUSPA, and industry receiver manufacturers.

The Galileo Open Service Navigation Message Authentication (OSNMA) is now fully operational. Following its official declaration of Service on 24 July 2025 and the publication of the Service Definition Document (SDD), the time has come to ensure this powerful new capability is understood, adopted, and used.

To support the community in doing just that, a dedicated webinar titled “Introducing the new Galileo authentication service, OSNMA” will take place on 1 September 2025 at 14:00 CEST.

OSNMA marks a significant step forward for users. By providing authentication of Galileo’s Open Service navigation messages, OSNMA allows users to verify that the data received truly comes from Galileo and has not been altered. This helps mitigate risks linked to spoofing – a growing concern as GNSS interference incidents continue to rise globally.

Organised by the European Commission and the European Union Agency for the Space Programme (EUSPA), this webinar is a unique opportunity for receiver manufacturers, application developers, industry stakeholders, integrators, and GNSS professionals to learn more about the OSNMA service, its benefits, and how to implement it.

The event will feature presentations from the European Commission and EUSPA, who will walk participants through the OSNMA service, its relevance in the current context and key elements of the newly released SDD. They will also present the baseline documentation for the implementation of OSNMA in the user receiver.

Importantly, the webinar will also include presentations from developments supported by EUSPA through the Fundamental Elements Programme by leading GNSS receiver manufacturers who have already started implementing OSNMA in their solutions. These real-world use cases will provide insights into implementation processes, integration experiences, and performance results across various applications and sectors.

Whether you are a developer exploring the integration of OSNMA, a service provider looking to offer enhanced GNSS security, or simply curious to discover how Europe is pioneering navigation authentication, this webinar is for you.

Don’t miss the chance to hear directly from the experts and stakeholders shaping the future of GNSS security.

Save the date: 1 September 2025 at 14:00 CEST - and join us in bringing secure navigation to users worldwide.
