Step inside EU Space as EUSPA Open Days 2026 prepare for launch
Curious about what the European Union is doing in space and what this has to do with your daily life? On 13 and 14 November, let’s meet, EUSPA is opening its doors and inviting you to find out.
From the technology that guides us on the road to the satellites helping us understand our planet, space is part of our lives in more ways than you might think. Now, you can discover it first-hand by stepping inside EUSPA headquarters in Prague.
Excited to explore space up close?
The EUSPA Open Days offer this only once-a-year opportunity for the public to discover the, technologies, services and people behind #EUSpace. Whether you work in the sector, are preparing for a career in space, or are simply curious about how space benefits everyday life, join us for a behind-the-scenes look at the #EUSpace Programme.
Visitors can explore the different components of the EU Space Programme, including Galileo, EGNOS, Copernicus, Space Situational Awareness (SSA) and Secure SATCOM, through a range of interactive activities. And there is plenty for younger visitors, too. Children can take part in activities, including a treasure hunt and virtual-reality experiences, making EUSPA Open Days a fun day out for families and friends.
Friday morning, 13 November, is dedicated to school and university visits, giving students and teachers the chance to explore space up close. The visits will feature interactive exhibitions and activities accessible to students of all ages. Schools need to register as the capacity is limited. Don’t lose any time!
For those planning a public visit on Friday 13 after 16:00 or throughout Saturday 14 November, entry is free and no registration is required. Please note that during busy periods, such as Saturday afternoon, there may be a wait outside, as visitor numbers are limited for safety reasons in line with the building’s capacity limits.
