User Consultation Platform and Downstream Day Event: Registration’s open!
The User Consultation Platform (UCP) together with the Space Downstream Day registration is now open. The two-day event taking place 4-5 December in Prague and online, brings together stakeholders from across the space ecosystem to exchange views, identify user needs and shape the evolution of EU Space services and downstream opportunities.
Day 1 – Thematic Sessions
The opening day of UCP will be dedicated exclusively to parallel thematic sessions, allowing participants to select and join the discussions most relevant to their field. The sessions will cover a broad spectrum of topics, including food security and nature credits, rail, cooperative, connected and automated mobility (CCAM), GNSS receivers onboard space assets and SST, public transport and EU border and internal security.
These discussions will provide a platform to explore how EU Space services can best respond to evolving market demands and policy priorities.
Day 2 – Plenary and Downstream Day
The second day will open with the UCP Plenary before transitioning to the Downstream Day, which will highlight opportunities for innovation and funding in the European space sector. Key sessions will include:
- Presentation of the 4th EUSPA Horizon Europe call
- Updates on the Fundamental Elements Programme
- Updates on new tools and mechanisms supporting downstream market
- A panel discussion featuring receiver manufacturers and end users, offering perspectives on the challenges and opportunities facing the sector.
UCP 2025 Surveys – Have your say
Ahead of the event, EUSPA has launched several surveys to capture user perspectives and feed them directly into UCP discussions:
- The UCP 2025 Space Market Segment Survey, with a strong focus on Galileo services, aims to better understand user needs, raise awareness of existing and forthcoming capabilities, and stimulate new opportunities for EU-funded projects and initiatives. UCP 2025 Space Market Segment Survey.
- Meanwhile, the UCP 2025 road and automotive surveys, focuson user needs for GNSS and SATCOM.
