Creation of the SAB, the Security Accreditation Authority for European GNSS systems with Regulation 912/2010.

Council confirms SAB advice for reallocation of the Galileo Ground Segment to European territories.

SAB defines and approves the Galileo security accreditation strategy.

SAB approves the launches of the first four Galileo constellation satellites and subsequent operations.

SAB requests extension of cryptography coverage.

SAB grants first authorisations to PRS industry involved in Galileo PRS.

SAB authorizes Galileo OS and PRS Initial Services declaration and related operations after eight launches from Kourou: seven Soyuz launches and one Ariane 5.

SAB amends and approves the EGNOS security accreditation strategy.
