Integrated Management System (IMS)

EUSPA (formerly the GSA) developed and implemented an Integrated Management System (IMS) that is documented and applied to all Agency activities. The IMS was developed to consistently achieve Agency objectives and to ensure its operations are in line with the expectations of its key stakeholder. The IMS also includes processes for regularly improving the system and for providing continual assurance of conformity to applicable statutory and regulatory requirements.

The IMS is applicable to all EUSPA staff located both at its headquarters (Prague, Czech Republic) and all other EUSPA locations, including: Saint-Germain-en-Laye and Toulouse (France), Nordwijk (The Netherlands), Torrejon de Ardoz (Spain) and Brussels (Belgium).

These certifications, along with the EGNOS Safety Management System (SMS) and the European Cooperation for Space Standardisation (ECSS) standards for Galileo, are all managed via a coordinated IMS. This IMS provides all EUSPA staff with documented working practices and a framework for growth that ensures compliance with European Commission Internal Control Standards. The IMS also helps improve EUSPA’s internal efficiency and risk management.
