Whether you are a business, public authority, service provider, entrepreneur or researcher, the UCP 2026 is your chance to engage directly with the European Agency for the Space Programme (EUSPA) and help shape the future of EU Space services. The UCP is EUSPA’s annual structured consultation mechanism, designed to gather and analyse user needs and requirements related to EU Space technologies.

What sets the UCP apart is its real-world impact. Most importantly, the conversations do not stop at the event. Past sessions have directly contributed to the development of new services and capabilities across the EU Space Programme, from EGNOS applications to Copernicus-powered tools for insurance and disaster response.

A broad agenda built around your industry

This year's programme spans nine different sectors, covering the full breadth of the EU Space Programme and culminating in a dedicated downstream market programme. Alongside sessions on well-established areas such as aviation and drones, fisheries and aquaculture, and border security, the UCP 2026 introduces themes that reflect the latest priorities of the EU Space ecosystem. This ensures tailored insights for your specific industry.

For Earth observation (EO) providers and healthcare professionals, the event will offer opportunities to explore how Copernicus and Galileo services can support areas of growing relevance, such as AI-driven remote care, respiratory disease monitoring and smarter healthcare logistics.

Data specialists and EO users will collaborate to tackle the challenges of working with EO data at scale, sharing insights on interoperability, cloud-based workflows, application programming interfaces and the expanding role of AI.

Mining operators, engineers and site managers will examine how satellite data can support mineral exploration, extraction and site rehabilitation, with attention to climate risk exposure.

Tourism operators and cultural heritage leaders will explore how satellite data can enhance visitor experiences, support sustainable tourism and help preserve landmarks and heritage sites.

Maximise your market opportunities

On day two, the focus shifts to your growth and collaboration. The UCP Plenary opens proceedings, where outcomes from the previous day’s sessions will be presented and debated with industry and user representatives, with the aim of prioritising concrete actions for EUSPA to better support your community.

Following the plenary, the downstream market opportunities session offers a window into the practical applications and business opportunities emerging from the EU Space ecosystem. This is an opportunity to explore interactive on-site booths, live product demonstrations and dedicated presentations on CASSINI. The day will also offer dedicated networking time with users, industry representatives and stakeholders from across the sector.
