EUSPA takes on the Space Surveillance and Tracking helpdesk as of 2023

The service will be located at the Galileo Security Monitoring Centre (GSMC) in Madrid, following the transfer of responsibilities from the European Union Satellite Centre (SatCen), in line with the EU Space Regulation.
As part of its expanded role in the #EUSpace Programme, EUSPA will take responsibility for the Programme’s Space Surveillance and Tracking (SST) Front Desk service.

The EU Agency for the Space Programme (EUSPA) is hosting the first Galileo OSNMA Public Observation Workshop. It will take place online on the 28th June 2022. As part of the series of events organized in the framework of the service’s Public Observation Test Phase, it will allow test participants to discuss their results and exchange their experience with this innovative service.
To contribute to the detection of certain types of data-level GNSS attacks, EUSPA and the European Commission are currently testing the Galileo Open Service – Navigation Message Authentication (OSNMA)
